Red Faction Guerilla Sequel at E3

THQ’s CEO recently announced there is a sequel to Red Faction Guerilla in the works, and also that we’ll get a peak at it at this years E3. I’ll have to wait and see what’s done differently, but I thought the first game was really good. The single player was fun, not the most enthralling stuff but it was fun going about the different objects however you wanted since you could tear anything apart. But I loved multiplayer, just too bad most of my friends all suddenly stopped playing or I probably would have played a hell of a lot more. And what made this even better for me, is I felt I was really good at this game too. I had a win streak of like 30 games at one point, no joke. I was badass. Hopefully the mission variety in single player changes up, and hopefully they improve on the graphics as it wasn’t the prettiest games. Although that’s probably because of the color pallete they used consisting mainly of red, darker red, and grey. They are telling us to expect “robust online gameplay”, but I’m not exactly sure what they can do differently. Because there has to be some new wrinkles in the system or people will just get bored quickly. Hopeully the customization is a bit deeper, for both your character and gameplay. I think I ask for too much customization in gameplay though, it’s a little unfair. Halo 3 really killed every other games custom match settings, maybe they’ll do something like Bungie did and let you customize every freakin’ setting. Well nothing is known about the game so I won’t go into deep conversation about what should change and this and that, but it was stated to expect the game during the publisher’s fiscal 2010, which ends March 31, 2011.
