During Nintendo’s Media Summit event held today in downtown San Francisco, vice president of sales Cammie Dunaway announced the North American release date for the DSi XL.
The enlarged handheld will ship on March 28 and will retail $189.99.
The DSi XL boasts a 93% larger screen, better viewing angles, larger stylus pen, and built-in software. The system will launch in two colors, burgundy and bronze, and will come with pre-installed software, Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock, and also two free applications, the Nintendo DSi Browser and Flipnote Studio.
Thank you IGN.
So $190 for the DSi XL, and the DSi is currently at $170. Would you go the extra $20 for bigger screens? I’m not looking into a DSi, I’m happy with my Lite, but if I was to get a DSi I might just got with the XL.
