We all knew Super Mario Galaxy 2 was on the way. But did we know it was already almost here? In 3 months we will be playing this game as it will be in stores on May 23rd. Holy crap that’s close. Like Metroid: Other M, I can’t believe how soon these games are coming out. I fully expected this to be a holiday title, but it comes out during the Spring. They announced this at the recent Nintendo summit thingy and had it playable too. From what I’ve heard the game is gorgeous, which you can see for yourself in the screenshots. It’s also very Mario Galaxy, and that’s a good thing. There aren’t any new groundbreaking mechanics (or any we know of at least) and some people may not like that. But this is a whole lot more of one of the best Wii games out there, and it’s suppose to be harder than the last one too so it should take longer to finish.
