A new trailer just hid the webs from Bungie. It’s a brand new trailer for the upcoming beta for Halo: Reach and oh my God it looks great. From what I can see it looks like Halo still, but with a whole bunch of new twists. Assassinations (not just a melee to the back anymore), loadouts with sprinting and camo, jetpacks, new weapons including a grenade launcher (not the crappy Brute Shot), some sort of Covenant Laser, Needler Rifle. It also looks like Spartans and Elites with play differently, unlike previous games. All I can see from this footage is that Elites are bigger and can roll. A few new gametypes were announced, one was actually Spartans vs. Elites. The others were Invasion, Headhunter, and The Arena. No clue what Invasion or The Arena could be like, but Headhunter looks simple enough. Get a headshot, skulls fall form the person and maybe you have to run up and collect them? There was another thing called Active Rosters, but not really sure what that is. Also, is it just me or does there seem to be a whole lot of players at once? I’m sure there will be the classic 4v4 stuff, but it looks like this game could have a whole lot of player at once in some modes. Other than this there isn’t all that much info from the trailer, if you spot anything new and cool point it out! Also, there was new concept art which I’ve used as the thumbnail for this post, so just look up.
