HammerBros.com is all about gamers coming together and just talking about games. Get a nice community going, maybe make some new friends. Just to have a good time with fellow gamers. That’s all, nice and simple.

The website is run by a one more wrecking crew, me, Chris aka Skeet11.

The name HammerBros obviously comes from the enemies in the Mario games. I was talking to someone I know who owns a website for themselves and what names they almost chose, most was all video game related stuff and also somehow related to a Mario game. After thinking of names that I liked and trying to register them I would have to add some extra stuff into the url. The original plan for the site was to run tournaments and ladders. If we get a crowd that enjoys those types of things tourneys will be a definite. But since it was going to be for some friendly competition I would have to add “arena” or something like that at the end. I really didn’t want to do that so I just kept coming up with names. Finally I feel upon HammerBros, and hammerbros.com wasn’t registered to anyone so I figured “well this is a simple domain name, that should help generate some traffic on it’s own”! I’ve since gone through many different changes on the website, using all different kinds of content management systems like e107. Finally I decided things just weren’t going where I wanted them to and switched over to WordPress to HammerBros more of a blog than competition website. And now I’m here, writing about games and stuff on HammerBros.com.

Not exactly sure what else to tell you right now. I guess you should probably go explore the site now. Head to the homepage to read some news. Maybe head into the forums talk to some other members of the site. Or head to the live feed and see if I’m playing anything.
